I hope this wasn't a joint decision, but from the San Fran mayor's office on a proposal that would make San Francisco the first city in the nation to sell and distribute medical marijuana:
The mayor will have to hash this out with public health officials. It's the mayor's job to weed out bad legislation. And to be blunt, this sounds pretty bad.
| 2009 JJ Dinner and Fundraiser was a success |
 | With a good turnout, lively conversation, a great keynote speech, and a successful silent auction, the 2009 JJ Dinner was a fun time and fundraising success.
Andrew Romanoff, former Speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives, gave the keynote address in which he discussed many current issues, but focused on health care. He was introduced by State Party Chair, Pat Waak.
Jay Culver was presented with the County Party "Hat" for his great support in helping out at all events during the previous year. |  |
