This is the official call for the La Plata County Democratic Central Committee to convene as the Vacancy Committee to fill the seat that will be vacated by Commissioner Clyde Church, who announced June 23rd, 2025 that he is retiring early from the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 at 6:00 PM Mountain Time via Google Meet. Your participation is essential. If we do not meet quorum or make an appointment within ten days of the vacancy, the decision will fall to Governor Polis.
